This year about 10 chapter members participated in doing repairs to ODFW fish traps.  These traps are used for various studies throughout the Willamette Valley and coastal river systems.  Repairs called for removing the old skin-mesh, welding framework, modifying door openings, cutting the mesh and re-skinning these traps to make them usable for the foreseeable future.  The skin is applied with thousands of zip-ties.  Two full days of volunteer labor completed the task making all traps again available for upcoming studies.
