In conjunction with the Central Coast ODFW coordinator, a cleanup by both drift boat and in park effort was conducted along the Alsea River.  The pictures show both the overgrowth that needs treatment and the evidence of just how much junk gets into the waterway.  Earthday is one of the primary dates for these cleanups.  A few hours of volunteer work makes a hugh difference!
